Kaufer’s Shredding Day Event Scheduled for April 21
LUZERNE – In the spirit of spring cleaning, Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) will host a Shredding Day event for residents of the 120th District to more easily dispose of some unneeded items. This will be held on Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the West Side Career and Technical Center, located at
75 Evans St., in Pringle.
Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles upon arrival, where Kaufer or a member of his staff will be of assistance. The limit for paper shredding is three copy-paper-sized boxes per vehicle.
Additional items being collected on that day include faded or worn flags, prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, hearing aids, and working cell phones and chargers.
New for this year’s event, a prescription drug drop-off box will be available to collect unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
There is no fee associated with this event; however, those who attend are asking to bring a canned food item to donate to local food pantries. No expired food items will be accepted.
For information about any state-related issue, contact Kaufer’s district office in Luzerne located at 161 Main St., by calling 570-283-1001. Information can also be found online at
