Concealed Carry Seminar Scheduled for Oct. 4, Kaufer Says
LUZERNE – Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) is hosting a Concealed Carry Seminar on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m., at the Luzerne Firehouse,
66 Tener St. in Luzerne.
“This is a great opportunity for residents of the 120th District to learn their rights in regard to gun ownership and how to properly and safely carry a firearm,” Kaufer said. “I encourage all gun owners to attend so they can receive updates on the laws.”
The seminar will feature Luzerne County officials, including District Attorney Stephanie Salavantis and Sheriff Brian Szumski. Information about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws and the Castle Doctrine, as well as recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions and how they affect the Second Amendment rights of citizens, will be discussed.
