1/26/2023
HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) has been appointed by House Majority Leader Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) to serve as Republican chairperson of the House Government Oversight Committee.

“I am honored Leader Cutler has appointed me to lead this committee and the very important work it does on behalf of all Pennsylvanians,” said Kaufer. “While in office, I have continually fought to create jobs, protect taxpayers, and look for ways to reform government. This appointment will allow me to continue my commitment to these and other important issues.”

The nine-member committee, created in 2019, investigates matters referred by the speaker, majority leader or minority leader.
