HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) took the oath of office Tuesday to serve this third term representing the people of the 120th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
“I am honored the people of the 120th District have given me the privilege to serve them,” Kaufer said. “I look forward to continuing our efforts to improve the Commonwealth during the 2019-20 session.”
In the new session, Kaufer will focus on increasing oversight of transportation projects and spending. Other priorities include continuing fighting for property tax relief and advocating for legislation to fight the opioid epidemic.
“As we enter the new session, members of the General Assembly, including myself, will undoubtedly face debate and tough decisions to be made,” Kaufer said. “I look forward to these civil discussions and moving Pennsylvania forward.”
