HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) announced the January schedule of events held at his office to assist veterans and persons with disabilities.
On the fourth Wednesday of each month, Bob Fox, from the Center for Independent Living (CIL), will be available for the Disability Advocacy Program to assist persons with disabilities, ages 18 and over. Fox can assist with skills training, information and referral to additional services, peer counseling, home modifications, attendant care and community integration, in addition to deaf and autism services. Assistance is offered from 2–5 p.m. In January, it will be offered on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Appointments for events must be made in advance by calling Kaufer’s office at 570-283-1001.
Kaufer’s office also provides services to residents at three conveniently located satellite offices.

Kingston Township, 180 East Center St., on the second Friday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. This month it will be open on Feb. 14.

Exeter Township, 2305 State Route 92, on the third Friday of each month from 9-11 a.m. This month, it will be open on Jan. 17.

Exeter Borough, 1101 Wyoming Ave., on third Friday of each month, from noon to 2 p.m. This month, it will be open on Jan. 18.
