WHAT: With Gov. Tom Wolf threatening to veto legislation (
House Bill 1100) seeking to establish an Energy and Fertilizer Manufacturing Tax Credit in the Commonwealth, Sen. John Yudichak (I-Carbon/Luzerne) and Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne), the bill’s sponsor, will be hosting a rally to highlight the benefits of this tax credit as well as voice the overwhelming support this legislation has gained across the Commonwealth.
WHO: Scheduled Speakers include: Yudichak; Kaufer; Tony Seiwell, business manager for LIUNA Eastern District Council; Warren Faust, president, Northeastern PA Building and Construction Trades Council; Dave Taylor, president/CEO, Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association; George Stark, director of External Affairs, Cabot Oil & Gas; and John Augustine, president/CEO Penn’s Northeast.
WHEN: Tuesday, March 10, at 4:30 p.m.
